FROM USA Today: MOVIES

In her next film, Enough, entertainer Jennifer Lopez is fighting mad. Lopez plays a working-class waitress who marries a wealthy contractor (Once and Again's Billy Campbell) only to find out he's violent. In the film's climax, Lopez learns to fight back.

The actress worked three hours a week for more than three months to learn Krav Maga, a martial-arts form used by Israeli armed forces. Enough's stunt coordinator, Simon Crane, also trained Angelina Jolie for Tomb Raider. He says the two have a lot in common. "Just like Angelina, Jennifer was very keen to do her own stuff." Enough director Michael Apted, who did the 1999 Bond film, The World Is Not Enough, was impressed. "It is a dramatic scene, not a pure action scene," he says. "It took us nine to 10 days," and Lopez did very well – 95% of her own stunts.

After Enough, pushy paparazzi should beware. "She was very good," Crane says. "It was pretty scary at times."
