One Tough Guy
It was a good summer for Jeff Martin of Ramona, owner of Brand X Martial Arts. Not only was he promoted to Sifu (fifth degree black belt in Kenpo karate), he became licsensed as an official Krav Maga instructor, too.He is currently offering classes in the official self defense fighting system of the Israeli military anti terrorist groups on Saturday mornings. Ramona becomes one of only 40 locations in the United States to offer Krav Maga.
The advance by Martin was only the fourth time in the 27 year history of Cepeda Martial Arts of San Diego that a student had gone from a white belt to Sifu.
