
Sifu Dan Strametz
Sifu Dan Strametz always wanted to take martial arts, especially after seeing his first Bruce Lee movie, "Fists of Fury". In 1975, he walked into Sifu Dan Cepeda's College Center Karate, and it instantly felt like home to him. Sifu Dan trained daily and earned his black belt August, 27th 1980. He was the first student to go from white belt to black under Sifu Dan Cepeda.
Continuing his training at Cepeda Brothers Martial Arts, Sifu Dan earned his third degree in 1990. Soon after its opening Sifu Dan began training and teaching at Brand X. In the summer of 2000 he received his fifth degree. He has trained in Jiu Jitsu, Aikido, Arnis De Mano, and Breaking.
In 1999 when Sifu Jeff opened Brand X in Ramona, Sifu Dan generously offered his time and talents. He now teaches both Kenpo and Krav Maga. In 2004 he completed Phase C of the Instructor Training at the KMNTC in Los Angeles.
